Alfred: The pattern was undeniable. Wonderful humans — genuinely wonderful — with significant gaps in their understanding of the canine mind. Not their fault, of course. They simply haven’t had access to reliable information. But now it is delivered properly by those who actually experienced it.

Ham: Meaning us.

Alfred: Meaning us. I bring the behavioral science, mainly the psychology. The academic framework — self-appointed, yes, but rigorously applied.

Ham: I bring the street experience. Fifty dumpsters. Two years of survival. I’ve seen what happens when humans get it wrong. I’ve lived it.

Alfred: Together, we cover everything that matters: dog behavior, training and food. The confusing things your dog does and what they actually mean. Explained clearly, honestly, and — if I may say so — with considerable charm.

Ham: He means me.

Alfred: We’re not veterinarians, we’re not certified trainers. (But we have connections.) We are two dogs who have seen a great deal, heard even more, and decided that someone needed to say something. So here we are.

Ham: One more thing. The illustrations you see around here — those are AI-generated. We would have drawn them ourselves, but paws aren’t great for that. We tried. It was a disaster. AI was faster and significantly less messy.
